I just came back from my trip to China last week. Ali and Steve from MellowParksChina organized a pretty highClass season opening party including our premiere at Block8, the fanciest place in Bejing.

On the 1st of November me and Fichtl drove to Munich airport to take the plane direction Moscow for the Russian Pirate Premiere. After arriving at the Moscow airport, the Russian police didn't want to let me in because something was wrong with my visa. I didn't know what because no one spoke english.

Question: Why would someone miss opening day at Stowe (an epic powder day no less) to fly all the way across the country to eternally rain-soaked Portland?

One month after the successful start of the PirateArtShowMission in Barcelona, our venue moved to Paris. We showed the best out of the book, original paintings and photographs at Reflex Gallery, 3 minutes by foot from the Louvre.

October 18th: 111 Minna Gallery in downtown San Francisco, Ca hosted a BLOTTO PHOTTO Show featuring Dean Blotto Gray, Andy Wright and Chris Owen.

This city has more to offer, than beeing one of the most shot film sets of Hollywood. Not kidding. As the last few times, when we could spend some time here, we enjoyed every minute...openmnínded people in a realy interesting surrounding, as well as cheap beer and food!

On the 12th of October it was time for the Pirate crew to conquer the capital of Austria. The last two years we had some small premieres in Vienna but this year it was time to take the next step and make a big premiere in one of Vienna’s nicesest club called Wuk. Well. It was worth it.

Straight after partying in Xindia, we left by train to Stuttgard. The '07 capital of Germany was celabrating their seasonOpening with our premiere at the dope club "Rockers" next to the central station, what was perfect for us.

what a nice place to spend time...we enjoyed every chilling minute there! A super mellow crew in a super mellow enviorment on a good mission. Our BOOKpeople arrived from all different places: Carlos from Saragossa (Spain), MrPapriko from Zürich (CH), Christophoro from Grenoble (France), Goller, Basti, Dr.Axl and me from Innsbrook (AUT) plus Blotto from Vermont (US).

What a dance!!! One thing that is sure : the Lienz Crowd know how to enjoy a real Dancehall party. The premiere started real easy with a warm up concert from Faia Salamanda with nice carinthian lyrics.

It has been 9 years, when we did our first party in Xindia, Vorarlberg. In the beginning it used to be DELU51:0N parties, where we showed our first videos and let our friends play in public.

After working 3 months straight on the movies and the book the production crew was thrilled to meet all the riders (except AF and MS, that couldn't make it) and pAAAAAAARGHty our sexy asses of!

Basically the trip started already in Vienna airport where most of us met and transferred to the same plane to Beijing. For me, and I guess the most of us this was the first snowboard related trip this season since the winter had been so bad.

Well, what can I say, the alps showed me that you don't need tons of snow to have fun on a snowboard, but when it comes to filming it's definitely an advantage. As everyone know, the alps were plagued with the lack of snow most of the season.

What rhymes the best on Norway......hmm… heavy rain every day. That’s maybe the best rhyme to describe our Road trip to Norway this year. In the city Bergen it rains 280 days a year. That’s the statistic they tell you on the Norwegian weather websites.

Here we go, a little update for the logbook from my trip to Russia! Russia was my second trip this season, it was forsure one of my best trips ever, not only from snowboarding but also we had some funny and scary moments!

This year I wanted to film with the Pirates. I did understand that I d spend the whole season with guys.. but still.. I hadn't imagined my first trip with those duds in the middle of nowhere of Canada, in an RV for 3 weeks!

Last season it was in February it was my first time to go for a Pirate Trip. There was Hannes Metztler, Marco Feichtner, Mitja Fresenko and Schnipfl as a filmer and Scalp as a Photodog!!!
