Boardbagged Premier in Whistler

Since Miss Holle has not been to Whistler yet, we decided to do another Pirate premiere/party until she finally shows up.
The Boardbagged #3 movie hasn’t been officially released in North America, a good reason to have a Pirate Ball and play the movie at Garfinkel’s.
Thanks to our great Sponsors K2 Snowboarding, Dakine, Bataleon Snowboards, Clast and Camp Of Champions we had lots of treats to give out to the best dressed Pirates and Wenches. Free drinks for the dressed up crowed were offered thanks to Blackout Promotion, nobody had to leave the joint with a dry throat ☺
I was quite surprised how many Pirates, Wenches and Parrots turned up for the Premiere.

The crowd winner costume was the Pirate Ship made out of cardboard that counted 9 Pirates on board at all time. It turned out they were all Euro Pirates that made it to Whistler after a long journey in the rough sea ☺
Right before we started the movie the club was already at capacity (500 + people).  Everyone seemed to really enjoy the movie, lots of cheering and the ender part with Camp Of Champions/Whistler got the crowd really going…
After the movie we tossed out all the treasures, including a K2 Snowboard and a K2 set of bindings for the best-dressed Pirates.
At this point it got pretty wild, ice cubs and glasses were flying, everyone was trying to score a treasure…
The Party went down in a messy Pirate style and everyone looked like they are having a blast!

MTV was filming the whole event, since some cast members of the new reality show “Peak Season” airing next Fall were part of the organizers and partygoers. It was pretty annoying with all the lights and cameras at some point. At 2 pm sharp the club closed the doors and the party people stumbled home while Miss Holle finally decided to stop by for a visit in Whistler. Looks like we are getting a winter after all….
