claiming Kitzbühel

The first thing that comes you in mind when you hear Kitzbühel, is either the most important down hill race of the skiing circus, or the wanna be ViP melting pot of the European alps. However, their snowboarding history is quite a short one. This season they built their first real fun-park, that gets taken care of by Franz and his team...big up to the mini-line! Last week we got invited to shoot a nice feature, that got built especially for the shooting that took place for several days. We had some issues with the weather, but it worked out pretty good in the end. Thanks to the great support of Bernd Mandlberger, Franz and the Qpark posse. It was also fun times watching and listening  to the tourist's reaction of the riders clearing the gap. There were for sure over 100 people taking shots of themselves and this nicely shaped snow sculpture. Is this a start of a new era in Kitzbühel? We can almost smell it.
