Final Overseas Premiere Sofia
My final destination of this year’s Premiertour was in Sofia, Bulgaria. This year has been one of the biggest premiere tours we’ve ever had with over 30 stopps. This was due to the fact that we had our first U.S. tour as well. But anyway i didn’t even make it to half of the stops but i really wanted to go to Sofia because when i went there last winter for the Boardbagged movie i met some really nice people and that was a good occasion to meet most of them again.
The Premier took place at the after party of the Sofia rail contest. Nico, Sasho and the rest of the crew had build up a really nice set up in the middle of the city with a double kink rail two straight rails and a box. Funny for me was the i met the Bamboo crew from Austria which were also there for the rail contest. It was a close battle between Marc Swoboda and Wojtek from Poland but what i heard is that Wojtek took the unofficial trophy. So the guys were ready to spend their price money on the after party.
As we arrived at the club we were welcomed with a free absinth shot, which was a very strong warm-up for the night. And as you might imagine we had good fun although there were some technical difficulties but which didn’t do any harm for the party. But it was good to know but also a bit sad that this would be the last Overseas premiere ever... hehehe
So after a h.o. day in Sofia and a Shopska salad I flew back home and have a relaxed and sleepy Christmas…. See you next year
