Heli time
After winning the Russian ttr contest i was motivated to go back to europe and film in the backcontry. I first flew to munich and went to ispo for one day.In the evening our filmers Clement and Victor came to pick me up from Munich. We drove to Innsbruck, hooked up with Danny before heading to Leogang wich is a 2 hours drive. We woke up pretty late on the next day, so we had to hurry up. It was blue bird and we didint know how good the snow was on the mountain. When we took the lift up we saw that the snow was not too good there, but we went for one spot where the landing wasn't too bad. After we finishd building the jump, the light turned too bad to film, so we dicided to hit the kicker on the next morning.
We woke up at 8.00 and had breakfest. The kicker session started early, Osa got lucky with 3 tricks on film, also danny landed one, but i had some problems with speed. After 2 tries i got more speed, almost too much! Finaly on the last try i had pretty bad speed, so i landed on the nuckel and droped 1m down sideways and did 2 really bad scorpions. I heared a crack in my back and i was so sure that my back broke. I had the craziest pain, so Danny went to get the ski patrol. The location was at such a bad spot, that they had to get me out with a helicopter. They flew me to the nearest hospital, did a x-ray, but lucky me nothing was broken! I had to stay one night at the hospital. Now i'm in Innsbruck waiting to do an MRi scan, but i think it's not too serious, because i can walk! I just hope to be back on snow soon...
