I started driving to åre on thuesday 15th of april at 02.00 am, it was foggy wheather and 0° celsius and my lupo is not the best on slippery roads, but I managed to get to åre that morning! It was the bataleon shoot. Since both me and tyler were there we also turned it into a pirate shoot, with clemente filming. First day started at around 9 in hte morning, by then I had got actually one hour of sleep before going up on the mountain. We were riding ”the rhythm section” that day, it´s three jumps in a row straght after eachother, really sick to ride it and I´m pretty shure everybody had loads of fun that session. After riding everybody went for some hamburgers at the grillkiosk, and then resting to get ready for the evening session.
fter some resting we all went to the ”experiment jump”, wich is inspired by a ski freestyle kicker… sketchy!!! Some of us started trying the weird jump, nobody really thought it was gonna work, but sick as we are we made it work and got some photos and film shoots. Tyler didnt like the jump so he handplanted it, and did 2 frontflip and bs 10 from a nuckle next to the jump, awsome tyler!!
2nd day, wich actually turned out to be the last shooting day cause of bad weather we hit ”the floter” wich is a 30 m table jump!! And even worse, we had to be ready with the session before 09.00 in the morning… ahhh! So we pulled our selfes together and hit the jump, it was huge!! Andreas gidlund killed it with a fs 10…
Since the weather was shit from there on we just hung out for a couple of days, I decided to leave early to go to a park shoot in austria, but before leaving offcourse we had a sick night partying at Wersens! While everybody was dead drunk at the bar in hte middle of the night hans showed up after getting a sick night shoot in åre (secret spot offcourse) everybody had a sick night and 10 minutes before closing time I got kicked out!! yihhaaa
