LuLu and Pirates in Milano
Eventually It was my first trip to Milano, but with a good mission in the bag. It was time to set up our "LuLu and Pirates" (LukasLudschi) mini artShow in the bastard store.
Bastard is an Italian core brand that has been supporting the sport and it's lifestyle since '94! The outstanding Bastard building includes a warehouse, a shop, the admin and design office plus a huge skate bowl. The staff was involved in renovating the house, that used to be an old cinema before and got major architect awards and an inspiring office to work in.
Lukas and me could design one wall in the store with our pictures and paintings. Bastard invited friends and public for a nice event, including Bretzels&Beers, talks&laughs, as well as push&grinds in the bowl with decent skaters from the city.
Thanks so much for this happening in a very friendly environment! I felt like being part of this family.
