Pirates in Viking land - part #2

Folgefonna

Eventually we got the call from Eirik Haugo that the weather was going to finally clear so we hired a van, packed the essentials and hit the road.

On route we had a brief stop in Herand to check out the old as Viking markings on big flat rocks, was pretty cool, Sun worshipers don’t you know!?

And whilst waiting, Haugo and Jerome Tanon turned up, so we continued on to Jondal where Haugo had organised a super nice pad for real cheap, good work my son!

We spend 5 days riding Folgefonna and seriously couldn’t believe how many crews were up there it was ridiculous therefore a bit of a “friendly battle” heeded on for spots...

Towards the end of the week the wind came in with full force, we build 2 kickers and didn’t get the chance to hit them! But we still have ways of having fun, oh yes: backflip booter session!

We thought it would be funny to put Pirate stickers on the Factor Film guys cars and as we soon found out they didn’t think it was really that funny, so Haugo’s poor little beat up wonder car got marked… well I’ll just let you guys check the photos… but not to worry, we got’em back hehe…

Marco wasn’t stoked on the last jump we did, it had a mini lake you could ride through after stomping… After reverting his trick Marco somehow decides it’s a good idea to ride through it switch for the first time… not the best plan my friend, but at least he forgot about it soon enough. And yet again it was that shred time over for sake of the weather.

Time to head to Haugo Utleige, Eirik’s family farm/hotel/chill-spot.

Couple of days hanging here with Eirik’s brother and his baby and the odd jump up at  Vikafjellet. Good times!

But we still had the 2 jumps at Fonna we wanted to hit so as soon at the weather seemed to be clear again we drove back for the last days of the trip.

No such luck, the snow had melted considerably and our jumps we denied son!

So we found a spot and built a new jump, where unfortunately Marco concussed himself. Now, we have about 2 hours of footage of Marco repeating the same shit over and over and it is absolutely hilarious, hope we get the edit done soon, it could even be a hidden part in his section of the movie coming in Fall 09.  Eyes pealed!

Marco spend the night in hospital under observation where we picked him up the next morning for the drive back to Oslo where we caught our flight home the next morning that was yesterday and now im here today writing this for you guys out there in cyber world.

Big thanks to the Larsen’s and the Haugo’s for an amazing trip.

Thank you please.

TC.
