Serfaus Premiere
Last weekend a small but mighty crew of pirates including Lars Oesterle travelled to one of the last premieres of "Overseas". Serfaus a little town in the west of Austria with one of the best ski resorts in the alps was the place to be at that particular weekend. The guys who take care of the park there, really know what the are doing. That's why we came to this special place in the end of last season to rip one of the greatest kickers in the history of the pirates. Anna Lena, a local shredhead, organized the Serfaus session and was also the host of the premiere. She made an excellent job. Thanks for that Anna Lena.
The party started at the place of Anna Lena's brother. We had some drinks and a good laugh there. We moved on to "Patschi". That's the name of the location where the premiere "should" have taken place. What happened?!
The day of the premiere was simultaneously the the first day of the new season. In Tirol that means that hordes of crazy tourists are back after a long summer break. So the location was also packed with a lot of loony people. Bugs and Oli just played five of their best tunes before they ware exiled by the owner of the location. Unfortunately the shred crowd was simply overruled by a bunch of drunk dutch. No Problem, that's life. We still had a lot of fun listening to Apres ski hits played by Dj Mike. The party ended where it began. Hanno's place was packed with people. Thanks to him for turning his room into a alternative dance floor.
The next day we got up pretty early and took one of the first cable cars. There was a lot of fresh powder but hardly any people. After two runs through the woods the sun came out and we were totally stoked. For me the trip ended in hospital because I dislocated my shoulder. But never mind.
Once more thanks a lot to Anna Lena and Hanno to host the pirate crew and thanks to all the people who showed up. Big up!
