Space needle drifter

Space needle drifter

Mankind wrote the date 3rd of October. My day started regular with getting up and hunting down breakfast. I was not familiar with the huntinggrounds in Toronto so it turned out to be an extended morningwalk through old town.

Once back at the Hotel it was immediate time to leave to the airport for my next Stop in Seattle. The airport shuttle already left so the hotel was kind enough to drive me in the limo. Roy, the driver of the Limousine took me by Torontos CN Tower standing 553.33 metres (1,815.39 ft) tall. That was on to the way to the airport. Roy wanted 45Canadian Dollars but I only had 35 so he let me go to catch my flight, which just happened to be closing. Beeing almost too late for check-in resulted in a „no seats available“ situation, so I got upgraded into First class. Not bad, ey? - as the Canadians would say. Thanks Roy from King Limousine Service. Call him when you need a limo in Toronto. His number: 416 843 1182. But I am already drifting from the subject.

As soon as I landed, first class by the way, there was Seattle’s Space needle, a major landmark of the Pacific Northwest region of the USA and a symbol of Seattle and 605 feet (184 m) high. Already a frequentier to Seattle this was gonna be the time to look at the City down from the top of it. From the top of the Needle, one can see not only the Downtown Seattle skyline, but also the Olympic and Cascade Mountains, Mount Rainier, Mt. Baker, Elliot Bay and surrounding islands. The Wind was gusty and the tall tower was moving. It felt crazy.

The oncoming night was a good one. Friends from all over Washington showed up to see the Pirates movie „Overseas“ and they got to see the riding I do at home. I was happy to hang out with Scott Sullivan, Eric Brandt and Cass. Tarek Husevoldt, his friends and even Jamie Lynn dropped in. How sick!?
