After spending a week in the company of Pirates I am alive and well. There was little booty taken but many a powdery landings were pillaged and dare say violated. Although the locations I am not at liberty to disclose, it was apparent that this ship of Pirates floating though landlocked locations in the U.S. is serious this year about getting things done. Charting new terrain to ride that has been seldom seen before. During the week we hit three jumps, had one landing pillaged by a rogue sled neck (if I had the power I would create a law where only snowboarders and skiers are allowed to use snowmobiles). Also hit some other features, rode some powder as a group, took apart a sled and fixed it in a dark parking lot, and had a night out in a good ol redneck bar. The crew consisted of Stian Solberg, Erik Botner, Juuso Laivisto, and filmer Justin Hare. All said and done I hope to spend some more time in the company of Pirates!
