Tokyo Premiere

After a few weeks of delay here is finally the blog from our Tokyo premiere. This was the second stop of our little Asia tour (check out the china blog). Our crew got a little bit smaller because Ludschi decided to stay in Peking for the next two months. So Basti Claudi, Fichtl and me headed to Tokyo, the cleanest, freakiest city i have seen so far. It seems as the clock is ticking in a much faster speed than back home, Thats why the five days we spend there seemed like one and a half. But it was enough time to check out the city with is markets and crazy shopping canters.

Our premier took place in the snwoboardshop area. Tokyo is build up  that for every kind of thing there is a district for it. In that area there is one snwoboardshop after another and sometime one with 7 floors. So definetly enough choices for the customer and luckily we saw our movie in nearly every store.

The premiere was really nice. First there was a concert from a Japanese surfer crew. They were mostly playing percussion but also in combination with mouth piano and contrabass. It sounded pretty awesome. Then it was time fort he Japanese movie called „Weird“ and it is really weird but worth it to watch. So if you can get hold of it you should watch it. You will have a good laugh. Last but not least we presented our movie „Overseas“.
The night ended in a restaurant were we ate some good sushi, miso soup and drank a few beers and had fun with the Deeluxe Crew the Weird Crew and their friends.

We still had one more night in Tokyo before we flew home so i took the chance and went to a Dancehall Party in Shibuya until early morning. Yes, Japanese dancehall rocks….hehehe
