VAL SENALES - roope tonteri video itw

That´s what Roope Tonteri, winner of the WorldRookieFest said after he came back home:

"My journey began when I took the plane from Helsinki-Munich, the flight went fine but when I got out of Munich airport, I was really nervous because I did not know where and when the trains were leaving to Innsbruck. But eventually I found a ticket counter and got on a train. The trip went well. I was watching snowboarding movies all the way. At the Innsbruck train station, I had to ask for "Zach hotel", where I was supposed to check in. I left to check out the city and look around what things are there. I met a friend of mine, who showed me the Innsbruck nightlife. At 3.30 the next morning, I was a little tired when Flo and Jocki came to get me at the hotel to travel towards Val Señales...it went very well, I slept all the way. When we reached Val Senales  we had a little snack before we headed towards the peaks. the park was really good and there was going to be a really good spring session. We departed to the hotel, where we ate and rest.
4.May: There was a little bad weather and we spent time at the hotel with internet and sleeping.
5.May: The weather improved and we were able to ride up to the park with the cat for a warm up session. We ate lunch on the slope and continued the session. The sun went down and we went back to the hotel to eat dinner and rest again.
6.May: The weather was really windy so we left the slope and built a jump next to the hotel, of which was able to bonk the wall. It worked well but then I hurt my knee, and I could not longer ride. While i had to rest, the others went up on the mountain to check some lines.
7.May: The  weather was really good, although in the morning it was a bit windy. It was a really long day, almost too much to handle. But it was the best day of the whole trip.
8.May: The weather was good, so Filippo, the filmers and me went already up to the glacier really early, while Drew and Markus were still sleeping. Filippo left the same evening, so I was alone with the filmers and we had a good party! Waking up the next morning, we had many good photos, and I think that they are really funny.
9.May: We woke up in the morning, had a little breakfast and started to clean up because the whole hotel was closing. Flo and I went to Basti's house close to Innsbruck at the same day. I spent 2 days there. We had a skate session in Innsbruck, ate good food and we watched some movies in the evening.
11.May: I traveled by train back to Munich where my flight left in the afternoon. I got on an airplane, took a Finnish newspaper and began to read what had happened back home. The flight went well - drank a few glasses of lemonade and ate one slice of bread. I got safely back to Helsinki, back to reality with school everyday. Thank you Flo, Basti, Viktor, pirates riders."
